STEFFI CREATES MAKE ME THINK US - THE FIRST PROJECT MADE THROUGH THE PLATFORM OF PERSONA

 

Steffi starts the creation of Make Me Think Us in January 2019, working towards its premiere on 14 December 2019 in CC De Warandepoort in Tervuren. Rehearsing through the year at _PLEK, Campo and Het Oude Badhuis. 

 

Make Me Think Us is a performance duet in which two performers internalize the most outward layer of one's identity: clothing. Putting on different clothing items on the same body creates differences is one's being. An outfit changers your state and your presence. One can disappear and an other can stand out, all depending on the clothing they wear.

Make Me Think Us is the first project where are three Persona-makers were involved with in some way. Steffi as choreographer, Pieter as outside eye and Jonathan as photographer. It marked the beginning a long-term collaboration under the name Persona.
